How to obtain professional recognition of a ski instructor qualification acquired abroad in order to practise as an establishment in the Province of Trento.

Description

The stable practice in the Province of Trento by foreign Ski Instructors is subject to professional recognition by the provincial structure responsible for tourism on the basis of the assessment of professional qualifications acquired abroad, expressed in the context of a services conference specifically convened for this purpose.

Who it's for

Ski instructors who are European citizens and citizens of the Swiss Confederation and of the States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area referred to in Law no. 300/1993, in possession of professional qualifications for the exercise of the activity of ski instructor obtained in those States.

Foreign nationals from States other than those indicated above and in possession of professional qualifications for the exercise of the activity of ski instructor obtained in those States.

What you need

Documents to be submitted

The following documents must be attached to the application for recognition under the regime of establishment of the title of ski instructor:

  1. privacy policy pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No 679 of 2016, duly signed;
  2. copy of valid identity document
  3. copy of membership card (Association/Federation).

In addition, the following documents must be attached to the application, accompanied by an official translation into Italian drafted by a third-party translator recognised by the Member State of origin or by another State of the Union

  1. copy of the professional diploma obtained
  2. certificate issued by the competent authority for the issue of the foreign qualification held, designated pursuant to the legislative, regulatory or administrative provisions of that State, containing the complete programme of the training courses attended specifying the days, hours, subjects;
  3. a statement issued by the authority competent to issue the foreign qualification held, designated in accordance with the legislative, regulatory or administrative provisions of that State, indicating all the levels of ski instructor existing in that State, if any, and the level held by the applicant
  4. a statement issued by the authority competent to issue the foreign qualification held, designated in accordance with the legislative, regulatory or administrative provisions of that State, showing the schedule of examinations taken;
  5. certificate of successful completion of the PFC - T test (formerly the Eurotest), exclusively for applicants holding the Alpine Ski Instructor qualification;
  6. certificate of successful completion of the PFC - S test (formerly the Eurosècuritè test);
  7. certificate of competence issued in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/907 of 14 March 2019;
  8. certification of criminal record and pending charges (date of issue not older than six months);
  9. declaration by the service provider that he/she has the language skills required to exercise the profession in the host Member State (Italian language) duly signed by the service provider (ski instructor);
  10. certificate of competence issued in accordance with Delegated Act 907/2019 of the European Commission of 14 March 2019;
  11. certificate of any temporary exercise of the profession issued by the competent authority.

Timeframes and deadlines

The stable exercise of the profession is also permitted subject to registration in theProfessional Register of Ski Instructorsmaintained by the Provincial College of Ski Instructors.
