Opening a travel and tourism agency branch

The opening of one or more branches of travel and tourism agencies in the province is permitted if the following requirements are met

1. the travel and tourism agency hosting the branch has been duly authorised;
2. the insurance policy taken out by the travel and tourism agency that is the seat of the branch is also extended to the branch
3. the availability of premises that are independent of and exclusive of other activities within the branch is ensured
4. the branch is equipped with a Technical Director who meets the professional and good repute requirements; this Director may also be common to several branches.

Failure to meet the requirements shall result in the closure of the branch until the requirements are regularised, while failure to send the communication shall result in the administrative sanction of the payment of a sum ranging from EUR 500.00 to EUR 1,500.00.

Travel Agencies

The application may be submitted by the owner of a travel and tourism agency located on Italian territory

Submit the request via PEC to the competent office of the Tourism Service using the attached form.

Following the submission of the prior communication for the opening of an agency branch, you obtain a Note from the provincial director responsible for tourism certifying that you meet all the requirements.
