Master Craftsman: granting of use of the mark

Persons who have obtained the title of Master Craftsman may apply for authorisation to use the specific trade mark. Once granted, the granting of the trade mark applies both to the Master Craftsman and to the enterprise in which he works, on condition that

1. the enterprise is registered in the Register of Craftsmen Enterprises;
2. the Master Craftsman carries out his activity in that enterprise as partner, owner or family collaborator;
3. the mark is used to distinguish the authorised products and services indicated in the concession of use and pertaining to the sector of activity for which the Master Craftsman has obtained the qualification.

The concession is of unlimited duration subject to

1. revocation by the Public Administration
2. renunciation by the interested party.

The interested party has the right to request the modification of the existing concession of use.

The grantee must be enrolled in the List of Master Craftsmen

The service is aimed at individuals who have obtained the title of Master Craftsman and are registered in the relevant list

The interested party may send the application/communication, together with its annexes

1. by sending it by email to the PEC address indicated on the form;
2. by delivering it directly to the competent provincial structure, or to any other peripheral office of the Province
3. by sending it by registered mail with advice of receipt;

The following documents must be attached to the application for the grant of use of the mark:

1. information notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No. 679 of 2016;
2. regulations for use of the trade mark (signed for acceptance by the owner/legal representative);
3. photocopy of an identity document of the applicant (if the application is signed with a handwritten signature and not in the presence of the employee in charge).

The following documents must be attached to the application for a change of the trade mark licence

1. information notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No. 679 of 2016;
2. attachment A - additional products and services;
3. attachment B - waiver of authorised products and services;
4. photocopy of an identity document of the applicant (if the application is signed with a handwritten signature and not in the presence of the employee in charge).

The following documents must be attached to the notice of renunciation of use of the mark

1. information notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No. 679 of 2016;
2. photocopy of an identity document of the applicant (if the application is signed with a handwritten signature and not in the presence of the employee in charge).

There are no particular deadlines

The revenue stamp is not due in the case of a waiver notice
