Description

In order to encourage social aggregation and improve the attractiveness of historic commercial locations, the province grants contributions of up to 60 per cent of the eligible expenditure to consortia and associations that organise and implement a programme of attractive events of cultural interest and shows, as well as food and wine itineraries in historic commercial locations.

Restrictions

The label 'Historic Place of Commerce' must be used in the promotional initiatives that are the subject of funding.

Who it's for

The following are eligible to apply

1) i Consortia set up in the form of a consortium of enterprises or companies that

  • have as one of their statutory aims the implementation of promotional initiatives for the qualification and enhancement of historic places of commerce
  • have their registered office in municipalities that have identified historical places of commerce with a population
    • over 5,000 inhabitants
    • between 2,500 and 5,000 inhabitants with at least one tourist parameter higher than the provincial average;
  • they ensure the participation of trade operators and open membership to subjects with a direct, concrete and current interest in the qualification and enhancement of historic places of commerce and who have been operating on a fixed location for at least one year in the municipality where the Consortium has its seat;
  • have, as at 31 December of the year preceding the year in which the application is submitted either the membership of at least 50 fixed-site commercial enterprises (including food and beverage outlets open to the undifferentiated public) or local operating units of fixed-site commercial enterprises (including food and beverage outlets open to the undifferentiated public) operating in the historic places of commerce or at least 20 per cent of fixed commercial establishments (including establishments serving food and beverages open to the undifferentiated public) or local operational units of fixed commercial establishments (including establishments serving food and beverages open to the undifferentiated public) operating in historical commercial premises;

2) the Associations have been constituted in associative form for at least three years and have benefited in the last three years from a contribution (from a public body, instrumental body or A.P.T.) for the realisation of enhancement activities in the Municipality where they have their registered office or have in any case realised in the last three years enhancement events through occupation or use of public places in the Municipality where they have their registered office that

  • have their registered office in Municipalities that have identified the historic place of commerce with a population of more than 1,000 inhabitants and with at least 40 commercial enterprises on fixed premises (including public food and drink establishments open to the undifferentiated public) or local operating units of commercial enterprises on fixed premises (including public food and drink establishments open to the undifferentiated public) as at 31 December of the year preceding the year in which the application for the grant is submitted
  • they ensure the participation of commercial operators and the open membership to subjects having a direct, concrete and current interest in the qualification and enhancement of the historical places of commerce and who have been operating on fixed premises in the Municipality where the Association is based for at least one year
  • have, as at 31 December of the year preceding the year in which the application for the grant is submitted, at least 8 associated fixed-site commercial enterprises (including public eating and drinking establishments open to the undifferentiated public) or local operating units of fixed-site commercial enterprises (including public eating and drinking establishments open to the undifferentiated public) operating in the historic commercial site of the Municipality where the Association has its registered office.

What to do

The application, bearing a revenue stamp and duly completed in all its parts and signed by the legal representative of the Consortium or Association, may be submitted

  • to the PEC address indicated on the form
  • direct delivery to the competent provincial structure by appointment, in cases where the documentation to be submitted exceeds the prescribed size limits (see art. 5 paragraph 2 letter B of the criteria).

In the event of positive acceptance, the legal representative of the Consortium or Association shall submit the request for settlement (for the Consortia it is also possible to request an advance on the grant awarded of up to 40% through the presentation of receipted tax documents or from 50% to 60% through the presentation of an appropriate surety).

  2. the list of commercial enterprises (with indication of the VAT number or VAT code) in fixed premises (including public establishments serving food and beverages open to the undifferentiated public) or local operating units of commercial enterprises in fixed premises (including public establishments serving food and beverages open to the undifferentiated public) operating in the historic place of business that are members of the consortium/association on 31 December of the year preceding the year in which the application for the grant is submitted
  3. the declaration in lieu of affidavit "de minimis" aid
  4. the information notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No 679 of 2016;
  5. (if applicable) proxy/attorney-in-fact for the completion and submission of the application and related privacy policy signed by the delegating party;
  6. for only Consortia, if envisaged in the application, the purchase estimates of IT tools and equipment intended for the activity of enhancing the historic places of commerce
  7. photocopy of a valid identity document of the applicant (only if the application is signed by hand).
