Description
It is a grant for the purchase by sports associations and clubs of vehicles for the safe collective transport of athletes aged 25 years or under for travel during the sports season.
It is also a contribution for the purchase by committees, delegations or provincial sections of the national sports federations of vehicles for the safe collective transport of the athletes of their youth sports representative teams.
The contribution for the purchase is granted to the extent of 50% of the eligible expenditure up to a maximum limit of €20,000 and taking into account the resources made available. VAT is reimbursable if it represents a cost.
The contribution is also granted for any fittings approved for the transport of disabled athletes, to the extent of 50% of the eligible expenditure and in any case up to a maximum limit of €8,000.
The contribution is granted for the purchase of new, half-yearly and zero mileage motor vehicles. The purchase of used vehicles is allowed if the following requirements are jointly met
- maximum mileage of 50,000 km
- registration no earlier than 4 years prior to the date of purchase of the vehicle
- presentation of appropriate certification, issued by an authorised dealer or garage, attesting that the vehicle has been serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Purchase is only permitted from authorised dealers or resellers.
The motor vehicles purchased must fall within category M1 or M2 of Legislative Decree No 285 of 30 April 1992 and be type-approved for more than five persons.
The subsidy is provided for in Article 15 bis of Provincial Law No. 4 'Provincial Law on Sport 2016' of 21 April 2016.
Restrictions
Each applicant may submit only one grant application per year.
Grant applications are ranked in chronological order of submission and priority is given to those submitted for the first time.
The beneficiary of the grant undertakes to tie the use of the asset exclusively to the association or sports club or to the committee, delegation or provincial section of the national sports federation.
It also undertakes not to dispose of the same asset for a period of at least 5 years, under penalty of revocation of the awarded grant plus interest at the current legal rate.
Lastly, it undertakes to ask the managing body to allow the "Trentino" territorial brand to be used, agreeing to customise the brand in order to promote its visibility on the vehicle covered by the grant.
CUP
Invoices relating to the acquisition of goods and services subject to public incentives for productive activities, granted for any reason and in any form by a Public Administration, even through other public or private entities, or in any way traceable to them, must contain the unique project code (CUP), indicated in the concession deed or communicated at the time of the assignment of the incentive itself or at the time of the request for the same. This obligation is introduced in Article 5, paragraph 6 of Decree-Law No. 13 of 24 February 2023 - converted by Law No. 41 of 21 April 2023 and amended by Law No. 213 of 30 December 2023.
