Grants for the production of orientation maps

This is a grant for the production of orientation maps approved or prepared for school use and certified by the local committee of the Italian Orienteering Federation, which can be
(a) newly surveyed for sporting events, in which case they shall not include portions of existing maps;
b) revised or extended existing maps for sporting events, 3 years after their creation or last revision
c) prepared for school use by sports associations or clubs for projects in cooperation with schools.

Eligible expenses are those for
(a) preparatory and survey activities
(b) drafting and editing the map;
(c) approval.

The contribution is granted to the extent of 30% of the eligible expenditure and in any case within the maximum limit of 10,000 euro, of the deficit and of the available resources.

Eligible expenditure is calculated within the limit of:
(a) €1,500 per square kilometre of newly surveyed maps;
b) 750 euros per square kilometre of maps surveyed for updating.

The contribution is provided for in Article 15, paragraph 1, letter b) of Provincial Law No. 4 'Provincial Law on Sport 2016' of 21 April 2016.

Grants are awarded in chronological order of application, up to the amount of available funds.

Sports associations and clubs registered in the National Register of Amateur Sports Activities and regularly affiliated to a committee or provincial delegation of the national sports federations, a sports promotion body or an associated sports discipline.

The application must be signed by the legal representative of the sports organisation.

The application must be submitted on the fillable form prepared by the administration and sent in static PDF or JPG format to the certified mailbox serv.turismo@pec.provincia.tn.it.

1. Application completed in full, dated and signed.
2. Statement of expenditure incurred and income earned, dated and signed.
3. A receipted copy of the invoices or other documentation of equivalent probative value relating to all expenditure set out in the statement.
4. List of expenditure documents on a prepared form, either in PDF or spreadsheet format.
5. Indication of the total area surveyed.
6. Copy of the orientation map(s) created, approved and certified by the local committee of the Italian Orienteering Federation.
7. Information in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No 679 of 2016, dated and signed.
8. Photocopy of an identity document of the applicant, if the application is signed with a handwritten signature on a scanned document and not in the presence of the employee in charge.

Applications for the grant and payment of the contribution shall be submitted

(a) from 1 January to 30 September for maps whose last expenses were incurred in the same year of application submission and in any case by 31 August of the same year;

b) from 1 January to 30 April of the following year for maps for which the last expenses were incurred in September, October, November and December of the previous year.

Once the grant decision has become enforceable, payment of the contribution is ordered.
