Grants for the marketing of Trentino tourism products

Grants to entities that carry out initiatives in favour of associated tourism operators for the marketing of Trentino tourism products, within the limits set by the European Union on state aid.

The application must reach the provincial tourism structure by 31 December of the year preceding the activity to be carried out.

OBLIGATION TO TAKE OUT INSURANCE CONTRACTS

The Provincial Council Resolution No. 2114 of 19 December 2025 established that access to the provincial public facilitation is permitted only in the event of the companies' fulfilment of the obligation to enter into insurance contracts to cover damages, directly caused by natural disasters and catastrophic events, provided for by Article 1, paragraph 101 of Law No. 213 of 30 December 2023, as amended.

The grant may be applied for by persons in possession of a travel agency authorisation or persons who entrust the activity to a person authorised to intermediate tourist packages.

Applicants must also meet the following requirements, which are alternative to each other

1. at least 100 hotel/extra-hotel accommodation establishments and 10,000 beds, if they operate at provincial level;
2. at least 20 hotel/extra-hotel accommodation establishments and 1,000 beds, if they operate at a sub-provincial level, in areas not included in the tourist areas set out in Article 8 of Provincial Law no. 8 of 11 June 2002
3. at least 10 hotel/extra-hotel accommodation establishments located in the territory of the province for organisations representing provincial or sub-provincial product brands. These brands are understood to be those recognised by the Provincial Council, pursuant to article 18 of Provincial Law no. 7 of 15 May 2002, or other brands representing products made and promoted through Trentino S.p.A. (where there is no more than one brand on a single product);
4. creation and sale of tourism services at provincial level through their networking with innovative supply systems and in partnership with Trentino S.p.A.

Applications must be submitted by one of the following methods

• electronically to the certified mailbox of the Department of Tourism and Sport serv.turismo@pec.provincia.tn.it;
• by post by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt (the date of the postmark of the accepting post office shall be taken as the date of admission)
• bydirect delivery to the Tourism and Sport Service by appointment or to the public assistance and information desks of the Province
• by fax to the corresponding number of the Tourism Service (for private individuals only).

Applications delivered by post or fax must be accompanied by a photocopy of a valid identity document of the signatory.

Applicants must submit their grant applications to the competent tourism department of the Province by the deadline of 31 December of the year preceding the launch of the planned initiatives.

The 180 days run from the day after the application deadline.

Once the grant has been awarded, the balance must be claimed by 31 December of the year following the year in which the grant was awarded.
