Grants for the marketing of Trentino’s tourism products

Grants awarded to organisations that carry out initiatives in support of member tourism operators for the promotion of Trentino’s tourism products, within the limits set by the European Union regarding state aid.

The application must be received by the provincial tourism authority by 31 December of the year preceding the activity to be carried out.

OBLIGATION TO TAKE OUT INSURANCE POLICIES

Provincial Council Resolution No. 2114 of 19 December 2025 established that access to provincial public funding is permitted only where businesses have fulfilled the obligation to take out insurance policies covering damage directly caused by natural disasters and catastrophic events, as provided for in Article 1, paragraph 101, of Law No. 213 of 30 December 2023, as amended.

The grant may be applied for by entities holding a licence to operate as a travel agency or by entities that entrust the activity to an entity authorised to act as an intermediary for package holidays.

Applicants must also meetthe following requirements, which are mutually exclusive:

1. at least 100 hotel and non-hotel accommodation establishments and 10,000 beds, if operating at provincial level;
2. at least 20 hotel and non-hotel accommodation establishments and 1,000 beds, if operating at sub-provincial level in areas not included within the tourist areas provided for in Article 8 of Provincial Law No. 8 of 11 June 2002;
3. at least 10 hotel and non-hotel accommodation establishments located within the province for organisations representing provincial or sub-provincial product labels. These brands are understood to be those recognised by the Provincial Executive, pursuant to Article 18 of Provincial Law No. 7 of 15 May 2002, or other brands representing products created and promoted through Trentino S.p.A. (provided that there is no more than one brand for any single product);
4. the development and marketing of tourism services at a provincial level through their integration into innovative booking systems and in partnership with Trentino S.p.A.

Applications must be submitted using one of the following methods:

• electronically to the Tourism Service’s certified email address serv.turismo@pec.provincia.tn.it;
• by post via registered post with acknowledgement of receipt (the date of the postmark from the accepting post office shall be taken as proof of receipt);
• by hand delivery to the Tourism Service by prior appointment or at the Province’s public information and assistance desks;
• by fax to the relevant number of the Tourism Service (for private individuals only).

Applications sent by post or fax must be accompanied by a photocopy of the applicant’s valid identity document.

Applicants must submit their grant applications to the Province’s relevant tourism department by 31 December of the year preceding the launch of the planned initiatives.

The 180-day period begins on the day following the deadline for submitting applications.

Once the grant has been awarded, the final payment must be claimed by 31 December of the year following that in which the grant was awarded.
