Description
This is a grant awarded to businesses, self-employed individuals and non-commercial organisations based in the province of Trento that invest in advertising campaigns in support of professional and/or amateur sports associations and clubs affiliated to sports federations, to associated sports disciplines and to sports promotion bodies recognised by CONI or CIP, operating in the amateur sector, with their headquarters in the province of Trento and which carry out youth sports activities on an ongoing basis within the province.
The grant covers 50 per cent of the investment, up to a maximum of 5,000 euros, and cannot be combined with other financial assistance granted for the same purpose under provincial, national or European regulations. In any case, the investment must not be less than 4,000 euros.
If the available funds are insufficient to fully finance all eligible applications, the funds will be allocated proportionally amongst all beneficiaries.
The grant is provided for under Article 17 bis of Provincial Law No. 4 of 21 April 2016, ‘Provincial Law on Sport 2016’.
Restrictions
The application for the grant and payment of the subsidy must relate to the investment made in the year preceding the submission of the application.
The grant is awarded within the limits set out in Commission Regulation (EU) No 2831/2023 of 13 December 2023 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to ‘de minimis’ aid.

From 1 April 2026, access to public grants and subsidies by beneficiaries registered in the Companies Register who own, manage or use land, buildings, plant, machinery, and industrial and commercial equipment as referred to in Article 2424, first paragraph, Assets section, item B-II, numbers 1), 2) and 3) of the Civil Code,used in the course of business, is subject to the taking out of an insurance policy covering damage caused to such assets by natural disasters and catastrophic events. The policy must be in force at the time the grant is awarded and must remain in force for the entire duration of the initiatives. In the event of failure to comply with the insurance obligation – implemented at provincial level by Provincial Executive Resolution No. 2114 of 19 December 2025 – the grant will be refused.
