Description
This grant is aimed at equipping the sports facilities in the Province of Trento, included in the Comprehensive Plan of Olympic Works approved by the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 8 September 2023, with facilities and/or sports equipment that allow non-competitive sports practice on ice throughout the year.
Expenditure on sports equipment is allowed only if strictly necessary for the operation of the facility being subsidised.
The amount of the contribution - provided for by article 4 sexies of the provincial law 18 May 2021, no. 8 ""Extraordinary measures for the organisation of the twenty-fifth Winter Olympic Games and the fourteenth Winter Paralympic Games 2026" - is equal to 90% of the eligible expenditure and in any case within the maximum limit of 200,000 euros for each application submitted.
Technical expenses including social security contributions and contingencies are recognised up to a maximum of 10% respectively.
The minimum expenditure is set at EUR 80,000.
The contribution is granted in compliance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 2831/2023 of 13 December 2023 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid.
The implementing criteria governing the granting of the contribution are set out in Provincial Council Resolution No 1409 of 6 September 2024.
Restrictions
The contribution is granted in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 2831/2023 of 13 December 2023 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid.
CUP
As from 1 June 2023, invoices relating to the acquisition of goods and services that are the subject of public incentives for productive activities, disbursed for any reason and in any form by a Public Administration, including through other public or private entities, or in any way traceable to them, must contain the unique project code (CUP), indicated in the deed of concession or communicated at the time the incentive itself is awarded or at the time of the request for the same. This obligation is introduced in Article 5, paragraph 6 of Decree-Law No. 13 of 24 February 2023 - converted by Law No. 41 of 21 April 2023 and amended by Law No. 213 of 30 December 2023. The operational guidelines concerning the application of the CUP are set out in Annex A to Provincial Council Resolution No. 728 of 23 May 2024.
