Grants for economic activities following the disaster in the Vigolana and Trento Plateaus

Businessesoperating in theindustrial, commercial, craft, hotel and tourism sectors are eligible for grants, including self-employed personsas definedin Article 2222 of the Civil Code.

Types of expenditure eligible for funding

Eligible expenditure includes:

• thereconstructionorrepairofpropertyowned by the applicant that has beendamaged,destroyed,rendered unfit for use or unusable, as well as thesurrounding areasand mainaccess routesto such property;
• thereplacementorrepairofdamaged movable property(furniture, vehicles, various items of equipment, etc.). The replacement or repair of building services (electrical systems, heating systems, etc.), where no further work is carried out on the property, is treated as movable property for the purposes of these criteria;
• compensationfor thelossofstock.

 Grant amount

• The grant amounts to 90 per cent of the eligible expenditure under the‘de minimis’ rule for investments in immovable and movable property and compensation for the loss of stock.
• Compensationforloss of incomeduringthe period 28 July 2024 to 28 September 2024amounts to25 per centofthe eligible expenditureunder thede minimis rule.
• Compensationforloss of incomeispaidina single instalmentfollowing the entry into force of the grant decision.

Obligations

Recipients of grants and compensation, except in cases of force majeure, must undertake tocontinue carrying out productive activities, even if these differfrom the previous ones andeven by leasing the business, for a periodof at least three years from the date of submissionof the grantapplication.

Cumulation

Thegrantsandcompensationprovided for under these criteriamay not be combinedwith other incentives granted by public administrations or public bodiesfor the same assets and for the same purposes, nor with the tax deductions provided for renovation and energy-saving measuresin respect of works eligible for the grant. Where thedestroyed or damaged propertyhasalready benefited from subsidiesunder other provincial laws,replacement or reconstructionunderthe subsidyscheme provided for in this law is neverthelesspermitted

• Businessesoperating inthe industrial,commercial,craft,hotel andtourismsectors
• Self-employed personsregistered inthe Trento Register of Companiesor inthe Economic and Administrative Register(R.E.A.), or who holda VAT numberif they are not required to be registered in the aforementioned registers.

The application may be submitted by:

• The company’s legal representative
• An authorised representative

The application may be submitted byelectronic means(e-mail or certified e-mail/PEC: the documentation must besignedwitha digital signatureorsigned in the traditional manner, scannedandattachedto the email, together with a copy ofthe signatory’s identity document).

In any case, the documentation must be sent using the specified electronic meansto the certified email addressapiae.incentivi@pec.provincia.tn.it 

• a cost estimatedrawn up bya qualified technicianin the form ofa bill of quantitiesora final accountfor work carried out;
• a valuation reportregarding thevalue of movable propertyandstockat the time the natural disaster occurred;
• where insurance cover exists, a copy ofthe site inspection report or valuation reportissued bythe insurance company;
• a verification certificate issued bya professional registered with the Professional Register of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts, Statutory Auditors, or a C.A.T. – H.U.B. – a service company controlled by a trade association, drawn up in accordance with the template provided by the relevant provincial authority, certifying thevolume of businessduring the periods under review.
