Information, instructions, regulations and forms for submitting an application for a grant with an evaluative procedure for the realisation of projects concerning training courses specifically intended for athletes

Description

It is a contribution for the realisation within the province of projects concerning training courses specifically intended for athletes in general or for athletes of at least three sports disciplines.

The training courses concern training in social security and taxation, language learning, the use of communication tools or other training areas pertinent to sporting activity such as sports nutrition, the practice of correct lifestyles, and the prevention of athletes' health and well-being.

The projects eligible for funding may be launched as from 9 August 2023, the date on which Provincial Law no. 9 of 8 August 2023 "Assestamento del bilancio di previsione della Provincia autonoma di Trento per gli esercizi finanziari 2023 - 2025" comes into force.

The contribution is granted to the extent of 90% of the expenditure admitted to financing with a maximum limit of €30,000 for each training project, within the limit of the deficit of the financial plan, within the limit of the available resources and, where applicable, within the limit of the "de minimis" threshold.

The contribution is granted up to the limit of the available resources, quantified for 2023 at EUR 150,000.

The contribution is provided for by Article 17b of Provincial Law no. 4 of 21 April 2016 "Provincial Law on Sport 2016" and regulated by the implementation criteria set out in Resolution no. 1707 of 22 September 2023.

Restrictions

The application for a contribution through the assessment procedure must be submitted between 23 September and 15 October 2023.

Each party may submit only one application.

Projects must be implemented by 31 December 2023 and accounted for by 20 January 2024. Eligible expenditure documents must be issued by 31 December 2023 and receipted by the date of submission of the grant application.

Applications that are not accepted in the year of reference lapse.

Who it's for

Sports associations and clubs registered with CONI or CIP and regularly affiliated to a provincial committee of the national sports federations, a sports promotion body or an associated sports discipline, operating in the provincial territory.

Companies, co-operative societies and non-commercial bodies, operating in the provincial territory.

The application must be signed by the organisation's legal representative.

What to do

The application must be submitted on the fillable form provided by the administration. It can be sent in PDF or JPG format to the certified mailbox serv.turismo@pec.provincia.tn.it, or delivered by hand to the Sports Activities Office.

Special cases

In the event that private entities also carry out economic activities for commercial purposes, they must keep separate accounts for these commercial activities, showing the distinction of the costs attributable to the project proposal submitted.

If the funding also benefits the economic activities of entities carrying out commercial activities, Commission Regulation (EU) No 1407/2013 of 18 December 2013 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid shall apply (OJEU 24 December 2013, No L352).

Documents to be submitted

1. Application completed in full, dated and signed.
2. Descriptive report of the training course to be carried out with indication of: qualification of the provider; analysis of the context and needs; objectives; type and number of recipients; sports disciplines involved or if the course is aimed at athletes in general; subjects involved and/or partners; expected results; actions envisaged and their methods of implementation; place, date of commencement and conclusion of the project; time schedule; monitoring and evaluation actions.
3. Plan of planned expenses and income, dated and signed.
4. Information pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No 679 of 2016, dated and signed.
5. Photocopy of an identity document of the applicant, if the application is signed with a handwritten signature on a scanned document and not in the presence of the employee in charge.

Maximum no. of waiting days

The 30-day period for concluding the procedure starts on 16 October 2023, the day after the deadline for submitting applications. If supplementary documentation is requested, the time limit for the procedure is suspended until it is received.
