Description
From 2 to 31 May each year, it is possible to submit an application for a grant to the Agenzia per la Coesione Sociale - Ufficio per le politiche familiari e gestione interventi economici, UMSE sviluppo e supporto alle politiche di coesione sociale, of the Autonomous Province of Trento, for the implementation of summer holiday activities, while the application for the grant for the activities carried out must be submitted no later than 20 September.
By Resolution of the Provincial Council no. 566 dated 31 March 2023, subsequently amended by Resolution no. 2076 dated 20 October 2023, the criteria and procedures for granting contributions for the implementation of day camp, camping and permanent residence activities were approved.
Contributions are granted for day camps, campsites and permanent stays organised exclusively on the territory of the Province of Trento between 1st June and 15th September each year in favour of young people resident in the Province of Trento, of nursery school age and in the first and second cycle of education and training, who are under 18 years of age
● Day camps are socio-educational activities organised during the day, without overnight stays, with constant assistance and supervision. They must last at least 5 consecutive days, with activities offered for at least 4 hours during the day;
● Camps are socio-educational activities carried out with constant board, lodging, assistance and supervision, carried out in a specific location and for a specific group of people, organised and managed in the form of collective self-management. They must last at least 7 days and 6 consecutive nights per shift;
● Permanent sojourns are socio-educational activities carried out with constant board, lodging, assistance and supervision, organised using mainly paid workers (employees, occasional self-employed workers, coordinated and continuous collaboration relationships or other similar forms provided for by law). They must last at least 7 days and 6 consecutive nights per shift.
The contribution is recognised with reference to the number of children actually present each day at the campsite, day camp or permanent residence and is differentiated for each type of activity offered in consideration of the different complexity and the different organisation and management costs required for its implementation.
Benefit measure: contribution per participant and per day of the summer holiday:
● Euro 4.10 for the day camp;
● € 2.70 for the camp
● Euro 6.30 for the permanent stay.
For each child/young person with L. 104/92 certification, the contribution per day of attendance is Euro 40.00 for camps, Euro 50.00 for day camps and Euro 60.00 for permanent stays.
