- have registered the property specified in the application as a residential property falling within cadastral categories A2 to A7, if it was originally registered in cadastral categories C2, C6, F2, F3 or F4.
Following the submission of the final statement, the grant may be recalculated if it exceeds the actual interest costs borne by the borrower. This may occur, for example, if the amount of eligible expenses reported is lower than the amount for which the grant was awarded, if the amount of the loan taken out is lower than the maximum permitted loan amount, or if the interest rate at which the loan was taken out is lower than the projected rate (3.75%). In any case, the recalculation cannot result in an increase on the grant awarded.
Request for an extension:
If you are unable to submit your final statement by the deadline, you may request an extension of up to 24 months for valid reasons.
After the first extension, you may request a further extension of up to 12 months only if:
- you already hold the necessary planning permission
- you have, in any event, commenced the works where the relevant regulations do not require a qualifying certificate.
Requests for an extension must be submitted before the deadline for submitting the report or the expiry of the first extension.
