Grant for projects promoting equal opportunities 2026

The service supports the implementation of practical projects across the province aimed at promoting gender equality between women and men. Projects submitted by active bodies and organisations registered in the Single National Register of the Third Sector and/or the National Register of Amateur Sporting Activities, which are deemed eligible and included in a specific ranking following assessment, may be eligible for financial support. The funding covers 80 per cent of the eligible costs set out in the project’s financial plan, up to a maximum of €8,000.00, in such a way as to ensure no surplus is generated.

Each organisation may submit only one project. Activities may commence after the grant application has been submitted and must be completed by 30 November 2026.
Once the grant has been awarded, an advance payment of 50 per cent of the grant awarded may be requested following the submission of the Declaration of Commencement of Activities. The criteria for awarding grants are set out in Provincial Council Resolution No. 596 of 20 April 2026.

The forms to be used, the available funding and the timetable for the procedure for obtaining grants for equal opportunities projects were approved byDecision No. 4380 of 29 April 2026.

By Resolution No. 5177 of 19 May 2026, the deadline for submitting applications was extended to 12.00 noon on Friday 29 May 2026.
By Resolution No. 8920 of 13 August 2026, the budget allocated for equal opportunities grants for the year 2026 was increased, and the expiry date of the ranking list – which is to be approved by 27 August 2026 – was set at 30 October2026 as the expiry date for the ranking list, which will be approved by 27 August 2026.

By Resolution No. 9422 of 27 August 2026, the ‘Ranking List of Projects Eligible for Funding – Year 2026’ was approved, and funding was granted to 33 projects.

The beneficiary must notify the actual start date of the project activities by submitting the ‘Declaration of Commencement of Activities’ to the relevant department within 30 days of receiving notification that the grant has been awarded.

It is necessary and sufficient to send a certified email (PEC) to dip.istruzionecultura@pec.provincia.tn.it, stating the actual or expected start date of activities.

The grant cannot be combined with other financial assistance granted under other provincial laws.

Organisations with their registered office or place of business in the province of Trento which, by the deadline for submitting applications, are registered with:
a. the Single National Register of the Third Sector referred to in Legislative Decree No. 117 of 3 July 2017,
b. the National Register of Amateur Sporting Activities referred to in Legislative Decree No. 39 of 28 February 2021.

The grant application must be submitted online via the “Stanza del cittadino” digital platform, which can be accessed by clicking the “Access the service” button below.

After submitting the Declaration of Commencement of Activity, the beneficiary may receive a one-off advance payment equal to 50 per cent of the grant amount awarded.

To receive the advance payment, you must submit an application for the advance using the form which can be downloaded from this page in the “Supporting documents” section.
The application for an advance payment must be sent via Certified Email (PEC) to the relevant department.
