Full immersion courses in English and German in Europe - Summer 2023

This initiative offers students the opportunity to take part in a three-week mobility programme abroad organised directly by the administration and, being eligible, to take part in the language certification.

The mobility will take place in Germany and Austria for the German language and in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Malta for the English language.

The mobility programme is organised entirely by the Provincial Administration, which will bear the following costs, thanks to the financial resources of the ESF+ Programme 2021-2027

• round-trip travel to and from the foreign location;
• training programme (classroom and outdoor activities - visits, educational activities, etc.);
• full-board accommodation in a family or college for the entire duration of the mobility;
• round-trip accompaniment from Italy to the foreign location;
• on-site tutoring service as a reference for students;
• risk, accident and liability insurance for the entire mobility period.

The language level of the course attended by the participant will be identified through a test carried out abroad. At the end of the course, the participant will also take an assessment test.

On returning from the experience abroad, participants with a certain level of language skills will have to take thelanguage certification test at a certifying body selected by the Administration.

Applications for the Mobility Programme can be submitted from 9 a.m. on Wednesday 1 February 2023 until 1 p.m. on Tuesday 21 February 2023. (ATTENTION: applications closed)

The list of final beneficiaries was approved by determination no. 6492 dated 15 June 2023 [LINK].

Students with the following characteristics:

1. aged between 14 years and 20 years not completed as at 31 December 2022;

2. resident in the province of Trento and attending in the 2022/2023 school year classes 1 to 4 of the second cycle of education and training;

or

resident in the province of Trento and attending in the 2022/2023 school year classes 1 to 4 of the second cycle of education and training, in Trentino schools and training institutions;

3. belonging to a household with an ICEF 2022 indicator, as per the "Single Application", of less than 0.60.

In order to submit an application, it is necessary to:

1) process the ICEF 2022 indicator referred to in the "Single Application" (if the household does not already have it);

2) register and complete the online application using the application below with the credentials of the Public Digital Identity System - SPID (info: https://www.spid.gov.it). The completed application is transmitted online to the Administration. The certificate of the ICEF 2022 indicator does not have to be attached to the application for admission to the mobility abroad programme, as this indicator will be checked ex officio by the competent Service following the processing of the ICEF 2022 by the authorised subjects at the request of the student's family. The indicator is necessary for the purposes of drawing up the rankings and determining the co-participation fee.
