Facilitations for floriculture - Announcement 2025

This call for proposals, promoted by the Autonomous Province of Trento, offers financial aid for investments in the floriculture sector, in line with European directives on state aid.

The aim is to improve the overall performance and sustainability of farms, reduce production costs, improve environmental standards and energy efficiency, and contribute to climate change adaptation.

Eligible interventions include the construction or modernisation of structures and facilities, and the purchase of specific management hardware and software for the floriculture sector.

The total budget for 2025 is EUR 800,000.00.

The maximum aid intensity varies: 40% for the improvement of real estate and the construction of fixed installations, and 30% for the purchase of new machinery or mobile equipment. If you are a young beneficiary of a setting-up premium (or you have applied and the application is pending), you can get a bonus of +10%.

The minimum eligible expenditure per application is EUR 10,000.00 (excluding VAT), while the maximum limit is EUR 150,000.00 (excluding VAT).

Expenditure such as VAT, interest payable, ordinary maintenance, purchase of land and leasing investments are not eligible.

The call is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises operating in the floriculture sector in Trentino.

Both individual farms and companies set up to run such businesses are eligible.

It is essential that the floriculture activity constitutes at least 70% of the activity carried out by the company.

Applicants must have a valid electronic business file, be in possession of suitable title deeds for the parcels covered by the measures, and have a PEC and agricultural VAT number. Businesses in difficulty or those with pending recovery orders are not eligible.

To participate, you must submit your application online via the SRTrento provincial portal.

You must have a registered account and digitally sign the application.

The application must contain detailed information on the project initiative, including a description of the interventions, their purpose and improvement aspects, and how you intend to achieve the objectives of the call.

You will also have to attach the necessary documentation, such as approved plans, estimated metric calculations and, for purchases, at least three cost estimates from different and competing suppliers.

The application must be submitted online by accessing the provincial agricultural information system SRTrento at https://srt.infotn.itwhich can also be reached from the portal https://a4g.provincia.tn.it/, from Monday 28 July to Monday 15 September 2025 in accordance with the procedures set out in the Manual of Procedures for Controls and Penalties of the Paying Agency APPAG.

Access to the reserved area of SR Trento is allowed only to registered users; therefore, each user must first be accredited according to the methods indicated in the manual on the home page of the SRTrento website. For the year 2025, applications may be submitted from 28 July to 15 September 2025.

The merit list is approved within 30 days after the deadline for submitting applications. The grant or refusal of the contribution will be made within 70 days from the approval of the ranking list.

The initiatives financed must be accounted for within 24 months from the date the grant is awarded, and only one reasoned request for an extension is allowed for a maximum of a further 24 months.
