Facilitations for beekeeping - call 2025

This notice offers facilities for beekeepers in Trentino who wish to invest in their activity, in particular to improve production, reduce costs, protect the environment and animal welfare, and contribute to the fight against climate change. This is aid for investments in farms linked to primary production in the beekeeping sector. It is important to know that the conditions may change slightly according to the European Commission, but applications for 2025 are still being accepted.

Eligible expenditure is for the construction of premises for the processing, storage and marketing of beehive products, or for the storage of machinery and equipment for beekeeping activities. Vehicles used for transporting goods and other specific beekeeping equipment are also eligible.
The aid intensity is 40 %. The minimum eligible expenditure per application is EUR 10,000.00 (excluding VAT), while the maximum limit is EUR 250,000.00 (excluding VAT).

Individual and corporate micro, small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises can participate, provided they are beekeepers and meet specific requirements.

Among the prerequisites, they must have a valid electronic business file, possess the titles of ownership for the land or structures involved in the intervention, have a PEC, be in possession of an agricultural VAT number, be registered in the bee registry database (BDA) as an 'ordinary' activity, and have reported at least 70 hives in the 2024 bee census. Those who have had contributions withdrawn and companies in difficulty are not eligible.

The application must be submitted online by accessing the provincial agricultural information system SRTrento at https://srt.infotn.itwhich can also be reached via the portal https://a4g.provincia.tn.it/

You must be a registered user and the application must be digitally signed.

The application requires several pieces of information, including land registry references (if works are involved), a substitute declaration stating that no other public aid has been granted for the same initiatives and that the company is not in difficulty.

Various documents must be attached to the application, such as a technical report, the project, the estimated metric calculation, and in some cases, three cost estimates from different and independent suppliers.

For the year 2025, applications may be submitted from Monday 3 August to Wednesday 17 September 2025, no later than 1pm.

The merit ranking of applications is approved within 30 days after the submission deadline.

The final decision to grant or deny the contribution is communicated within 70 days from the approval of the ranking list.

Initiatives must be reported within 24 months from the date the grant was awarded.

It is possible to request a single justified extension, for a maximum of a further 24 months, within the reporting deadline.
