Criteria, methods and forms for requesting contributions and compensation for economic activities damaged by the calamitous event of 5 August 2022 in the municipalities of San Giovanni di Fassa - Sen Jan, Campitello - Ciampedél and Mazzin - Mazin. Annex 1 to resolution no. 1824/2022.

Description

Companies belonging to the industrial, commercial, handicraft, hotel and tourism sectors, including alpine refuges and the self-employed as provided for inArticle 2222 of the Civil Code, are eligible for contributions.

Types of eligible interventions

Eligible expenditure includes

  • the reconstruction or repair of immovable property at the applicant's disposal that is damaged, destroyed, rendered unfit for use or unusable, as well as of the adjacencies and main access routes to such property
  • the replacement or repair of damaged movables (furniture, vehicles, various equipment, etc.). Replacement or repair of real estate installations (electrical system, heating system, etc.), in the absence of further work on the real estate, is assimilated to movable property for the purposes of these criteria;
  • compensation for loss of stock.
Contribution Measure
  • The contribution is equal to 90% of the eligible expenditure under the de minimis rule for investment in real estate - movable property and compensation for loss of stock.
  • Compensation for loss of income during the period 6 August 2022 - 15 August 2022 is equal to 30% of the eligible de minimis expenditure.
  • Compensation for loss of income is paid in alump sum following the enforceability of the granting measure.

Restrictions

Obligations

The recipients of the contributions and compensation, except in cases of force majeure, must undertake to continue the productive activity, even if different from the pre-existing one and even through the leasing of the holding, for at least the period of not less than three years from the date of submission of the application.

Cumulation

Contributions and indemnities provided for by these criteria cannot be cumulated with other benefits granted by public administrations or bodies for the same assets and for the same purposes, as well as with the tax deductions provided for restructuring and energy saving measures in respect of the works admitted to the grant. If the destroyed or damaged goods have already been subsidised under other provincial laws, the replacement/reconstruction subsidised under this law is in any case allowed.

  • Businesses belonging to the industrial, commercial, handicraft, hotel and tourism sectors, including alpine refuges
  • Self-employed workers enrolled in the Trento Register of Companies or in the Economic and Administrative Directory (R.E.A.) or in possession of a VAT number if they are not required to be enrolled in the aforementioned registers.

The application may be submitted by electronic mail(e-mail or certified e-mail/PEC: the documentation must be signed with a digital signature or signed in the traditional way, scanned and attached to the e-mail message together with a copy of the subscriber's identity document).

Documents to be submitted

  • cost estimate drawn up by a qualified technician in the form of an estimated metric calculation or final calculation for works carried out
  • appraisal report with reference to the value of movable property and inventories at the time of the occurrence of the calamitous event;
  • if insurance coverage exists, copy of the inspection/expertise report issued by the insurance company;
  • audit certificate issued by a professional registered with the Professional Association of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts, or by a C.A.T. - H.U.B. - service companies controlled by a Trade Association, drawn up in conformity with the facsimile prepared by the competent provincial structure proving the volume of activity during the periods of observation.

Maximum no. of waiting days

The grants are awarded, in chronological order from the date of completion of the preliminary investigation, by decision of the competent manager within 60 days from the day after the deadline for submitting the applications, up to the amount of the resources available in the provincial budget.The interventions must be completed within one year from the date of receipt of the notice of grant, which can be extended by one year with a justified application to be submitted within the original deadline.The expenditure statement must be submitted within 180 days from the deadline for completion. In the event the reported expenditure is lower than the allowed expenditure, the latter shall be recalculated on the basis of the interventions actually carried out within the deadline or of the expenditure actually incurred by the beneficiary.
