This is a contribution by means of which businesswomen, self-employed women and freelancers can be temporarily replaced in their work by a person for reasons related to pregnancy, maternity and child-rearing. The replacement can take place for a maximum of 18 months.
Agenzia del Lavoro grants a contribution of up to EUR 20,000 to cover the cost of the replacement, which can go up to EUR 25,000 if the replacement is registered in the New Provincial Co-Manager Register.
The application for a contribution may only be made once for each child.
The contribution is granted only if the national call for applications provided for by Article 9, paragraph 3 of Law no. 53/2000 has not been activated and is granted on a de minimis basis.
Applicant requirements
- female entrepreneurs, including partners in companies, with registered office or place of business in the Province of Trento with less than ten employees;
- self-employed women working in the province of Trento;
- participants in family businesses referred to in Article 230 bis of the Civil Code;
- coordinated and continuous collaborators provided they are resident in the Province of Trento.
All these types of applicants must have been enrolled for at least six months in a compulsory insurance scheme for social security and welfare purposes.
To apply for the contribution, the applicant must be in one of these two situations
- be pregnant
- have cohabiting children under 12 years of age
Substitute's requirements
The person identified by the applicant must meet the following requirements
- he/she can be identified among the names in the New Provincial Register
- In order to be enrolled in the Register, he/she must possess the professional qualification of Co-manager which can be obtained through the Provincial Skills Certification System (for further information, type the title of the professional qualification of Co-manager in the Provincial Register)
- may be enrolled in a Professional Order or College
- or have a formal qualification entitling him/her to practice as a self-employed person
- or possess experience deriving from at least three years of continuous work in a self-employed or subordinate capacity in activities related to or similar to the replacement, excluding periods of apprenticeship.
To identify the replacement, the applicant may indicate a person of his/her choice, or contact the local Job Centre.
