Contribution to patronage and social assistance organisations

This is a regional contribution granted in favour of Patronati e Istituti di assistenza sociale (Patronages and Social Assistance Institutes), established pursuant to Law No 152 of 30 March 2001, aimed at supporting the assistance activity carried out for the access of citizens to the supplementary welfare and social assistance interventions provided for by the Region and the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano.

The contribution is paid on the basis of the evaluation of the activity and organisation of the institutes themselves, according to the criteria and modalities provided for by the Decree No 10/L of the President of the Regional Council of 22 December 2009.

For the assessment of the activity of the patronage institutes, for the purposes of the payment of the contribution to their funding, the most significant and representative services and interventions in the exercise of protection, listed in the tables annexed to the aforementioned Decree, are taken into consideration.

By 30 June of each year, the Autonomous Province of Trento shall pay the patronage institutions an advance on the contributions provided for in their budget, proportionate to the activity they perform, and equal to seventy per cent of the allocated funds.

The balance of the contribution shall be paid following checks on the activities and organisation of the Patronato, carried out by the Autonomous Province of Trento's Employment Service.

The application for the contribution must be submitted to the Provincial Agency for Supplementary Assistance and Welfare by 30 April each year.

Patronage and social assistance bodies, legally recognised pursuant to Law No. 152 of 30 March 2001 and operating in the Autonomous Province of Trento.

The application must be signed by the provincial head of the institute and must reach the Provincial Agency for Supplementary Assistance and Welfare by 30 April each year.

The application must be sent to the Agency by certified email to apapi@pec.provincia.tn.it.

The application must be accompanied by the statistical tables relating to the organisational structure and the activity carried out by each institute during the year preceding the reference year and, where appropriate, accompanied by a summary report with an express declaration signed by the person responsible himself, as to the accuracy and truthfulness of the data communicated.
