Description
This type of aid is specific and in support of the livestock and crop production sector: the intervention was adopted to support the cultivation of permanent meadows in mountain areas at high altitudes, where mowing ensures the fodder base necessary for the cattle's food ration, contributes to the maintenance and protection of the territory, to the prevention/limitation of depopulation and is a fundamental component for the upkeep of the landscape.
By supporting the purchase of technologically advanced haymaking machinery and equipment, the initiative aims to improve the overall performance and sustainability of provincial farms. The aid encourages the adaptation of production to the needs of the market and the vocation of mountain areas, while guaranteeing greater security for operators and the preservation of the natural landscape, an element of identity and the driving force behind the local tourist economy.
This aid cannot be combined with other public aid for the same initiative.
Aid will be granted in the form of capital grants.
