Construction of a new cableway installation
Following the granting of the cableway concession, the final cableway project must be submitted to the Ropeway and Ski Slope Service for technical approval. This approval entails authorisation to start construction work.
If situations of particular urgency arise in relation to the characteristics of the works to be carried out, the competent service may, at the request of the concessionaire and prior to the approval of the final project
complete cableway project, a permit for the start of partial works.
The construction work must be carried out under the responsibility of an engineer who is the director of the works, enrolled in the relevant professional register, whose name must be notified in advance to the Ropeway and Ski Slope Service, together with the date on which the work is to commence.
Once the construction of the installation has been completed, the concessionaire shall submit to the competent cableway installation service the application, countersigned by the director of works, for the functional inspection of the installation, together with the declaration of regular execution of the work and the declarations of conformity required by the regulations.
Modification of a cableway installation
The modification of a cableway installation is differentiated into substantial and non-substantial, and requires a specific application to be sent to the Service for Cableway Installations and Ski Slopes.
If the requested modification is substantial, a modification of the cableway line concession is also necessary.
Subsequently, the defined project of the modification must be submitted for approval.
