Co-operative entities: contribution to audit costs

Co-operative entities that are not members of any recognised representative association may apply for a contribution of 50% of the expenses incurred for the ordinary annual/biennial audit.

The expenses covered by the grant must have already been paid at the time the application is submitted.

Co-operative entities registered in the 'Provincial Register of Co-operative Entities' that are not members of any recognised representative association.

The cooperative body must submit the application in one of the following ways

• by certified electronic mail to the address indicated on the application form
• by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the address indicated on the application form
• by hand delivery to the relevant office

The cooperative body must submit the relevant application by enclosing

• fee issued by the auditor
• auditor's receipt or copy of bank transfer of payment;
• request for crediting of the contribution to the bank account;
• information notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation no. 679 of 2016;
• photocopy of an identity document of the applicant (if the application is signed with a handwritten signature and not in the presence of the employee in charge).

The application must be submitted within one year after payment of the auditor's invoice

The 30 days begin upon receipt of the application.

The office verifies the application. If it is regular, it grants the contribution and disburses it.
