C.A.P. Certificate of Professional Competence - Duplicate

In the event of loss, theft or destruction of the C.A.P., it must be reported within 48 hours to the police, who issue a certificate of return. The provincial M.C.T.C. office then issues the duplicate.

The service is open to all interested parties.

• file a complaint with the Police;
• make an appointment at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Offices.

The PAGOPA code associated with the tariff for "Duplicate CAP for loss, misappropriation or destruction" is:

• T007 "Duplicato patente per smarrimento, sottrazione, distruzione" (AMBITO TRENTO).

• a report of loss or theft or destruction;
• present the driving licence held and photocopy thereof;
• receipt of payment made via PAGOPA;
• if the application is not submitted by the person concerned, form TT 746 C (signed by the applicant) must be accompanied by a proxy on plain paper and the valid identity documents, in original or photocopy, of the delegating party and the delegate.

N.B. Non-EU citizens must present their valid residence permit in original or certified copy.
