Application to purchase publications

The proposed publications are ranked and then submitted to the libraries of the Trentino Library System for interest. The number of copies purchased is determined by the requests made by the libraries themselves.

Purchase is permitted for works published in the three years preceding the proposal, except in cases of completion of collections or important works that are out of print. Dissertations are excluded.

Purchase proposals may be submitted from 1 January to 30 April and from 15 June to 15 September each year.

For those who have obtained other funding from the Province, the purchase is permitted if the work is not part of the financed project or activity.

Publishers (excluding small independent book publishers as identified by Art. 22 bis, Chapter Va, Provincial Law No. 15, 2007), associations, natural persons may propose the purchase.

1. Download the application form and attachments and fill in the required fields;
2. Send form and attachments using one of the following channels

• electronically to the certified mailbox serv.attcult@pec.provincia.tn.it attaching a copy of a valid ID document;
• by post by registered mail with return receipt: the date of the postmark of the accepting post office (Ufficio per il Sistema bibliotecario trentino, Via Romagnosi, 5 38122 Trento) will be considered the date of admission;
• direct delivery to the Cultural Activities and Production Service located in Via Romagnosi, 5 38122 Trento;

• a copy of each proposed publication (in the case of a subscription proposal, a recent issue of the publication)
• a descriptive sheet for each proposed publication (choosing between "Sheet for monographic publications" and "Sheet for periodical publications");
• information notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation No. 679/2016 (Privacy Notice). The absence of the above-mentioned documents shall result in non-admission to the ranking list.
