Application for University of Trento scholarships for Trentino descendants

This is what the project consists of:

• annual scholarship in the amount of:
  - euro 7,250.00 per year (for students resident in NON-EUROPEAN COUNTRIES)
  - euro 6,700.00 (for students resident in EUROPEAN COUNTRIES);
• accommodation in an Opera Universitaria di Trento facility
• exemption from university fees
• reimbursement of the cost of enrolment in the S.S.N. (National Health Service)

The study grant covers the normal duration of the degree course plus an additional semester pending graduation. It may be renewed annually according to the merit criteria indicated in the notice, starting on 1 October each year.

To apply for renewal of a scholarship already awarded for previous academic years, please use the form attached below.

For the year 2025/2026, a total of 5 scholarships have been put out to tender as follows:

• 2 scholarships for Bachelor's/Bachelor's degree courses (3-year duration - Cycle I)
• 3 scholarships for Bachelor's/Master's degree courses (duration of 2 years - Cycle II)

The deadline for submitting applications for the 2025/2026 academic year is

20 May 2025 by 12:00 a.m.

The following may apply
a) descendants of Trentino emigrants residing abroad;
b) who have been admitted to one of the 1st or 2nd level study courses at the University of Trento

2. send the completed and signed application form, together with the required attachments (see 'documentation to be submitted' section), in PDF or JPG format to the certified email address PEC

Annualrenewal of scholarships

To apply for renewal of a scholarship already awarded for previous academic years, please use the attached form

Please attach the following documents (in pdf or jpg format) to your application

1. copy of passport or identity document
2. curriculum vitae in Europass format (see https://europass.ce defop.europa.eu/);
3. short essay - at least 3000 characters including spaces - in Italian or English in which the candidate argues his/her choice;
4. any other internationally recognised certifications held relating to IT and language skills;
5. documentation attesting to the positive pre-assessment (or admission following selection from the call for applications) or documentation of the request for pre-assessment/selection for admission to the chosen degree course;
6. any documentation attesting to a state of serious economic hardship of the person concerned and of his/her family unit;
7. privacy policy.
