Aid is granted upon submission of a single annual application for the incentive, together with a statement of expenditure already incurred during the preceding 18 months.
   

What is funded

You can obtain an incentive for initiatives relating to:

  • fixed assets
  • company vehicles
  • security systems (new for applications for the 2026 financial year and subsequent years);
  • business investments in the energy transition, environmental protection, the circular economy and energy efficiency
  • insurance against trade credit risks
  • internationalisation
  • research projects

Applications are assessed usingan automated procedure.
   

Incentives and expenditure limits

The minimum and maximum expenditure thresholds, and the level of funding applied toeligible expenditure, are set out within each support measure – a sub-measure of the provisions.

The maximum expenditure per individual grant application – which may cover multiple support measures and sub-measures – is 300,000 euros.

The aid is granted under the ‘de minimis’ scheme, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 2023/2831.

Restrictions

Specific obligations are set out in the general provisions applicable to all initiatives and in the specific provisions governing the individual annual ‘Crescita Trentino’ initiatives.
These include the obligation for the operational unit to remain within the province and for the subsidised assets not to be diverted from their intended use.

   

Who it's for

Small, medium-sized and large enterprises that meet the requirements and conditions set out in the specific provisions of the individual annual ‘Crescita Trentino’ schemes or in the general provisions common to all schemes.

The eligibility requirements and conditions also include:

  • being up to date with social security and welfare contributions, as evidenced by a valid DURC certificate on the relevant authorities’ portal;
  • adopting, in relation to their employees, one ofthe contracts identified by the Provincial Executive in Resolution No. 1758 of 31 October 2024, as amended and supplemented;
  • the taking out of insurance policies to cover damage as provided for in Article 1, paragraph 101, of Law No. 213 of 30 December 2023.

What to do

Each business may submit only one application for the incentive per year – from 1 January to 31 December – which must be submitted by the owner/legal representative or their authorised representative exclusively via the online platform.

What you need

Documents to be submitted

The following must be attached to the application for the incentive:

  • a list of the expenses incurred;
  • a certificate verifying the expenses, issued by a professional registered in the register of chartered accountants and accounting experts, in the register of statutory auditors, in the register of employment consultants, a business technical assistance centre, a H.U.B. or a service company controlled by a trade association;
  • a technical certificate from experts specialising in the relevant fieldfor the support measures – sub-measures relating to: 
    - the environment;
    - internationalisation;
    -research projects.

Timeframes and deadlines

  • Preliminary assessment: the preliminary assessment process begins on the day following the date on which the application is submitted.
    The decision to grant the incentive is taken within 60 days from the day following the date on which the application is submitted, together with a statement of expenditure.

    Please note!
    Application deadlines – financial year 2025
    For the 2025 financial year, the administrative procedure deadlines of 180 days, previously suspended by Provincial Council Resolution No. 1683 of 31 October 2025, will resume from 31 March 2026.

  • Payment: the grant is paid within 30 days from the day following the date on which the grant is awarded.
