From 1 to 31 January 2025, onlythose who did not submit an application for such aid during 2024 will be eligible to apply for the incentive under the automatic procedure provided for in Provincial Law 6/1999.From 1 February 2025, thenew ‘Crescita Trentino’ support scheme (approved by Provincial Government Resolution No. 2013 of 6 December 2024), for which the deadlines for submitting applications will be announced at a later date. A factsheet dedicated to the new support scheme will be published shortly.

Aid is granted under the de minimis scheme through the submission of a single annual application, for projects carried out in various sectors and within specified expenditure limits.

The areas eligible for support are as follows:

  • fixed investments, including those carried out as part of new initiatives (Section 1 of the criteria);
  • fixed investments for the energy transition (Section 2 of the criteria);
  • company vehicles and charging points (Section 3 of the criteria);
  • internationalisation (Section 4 of the criteria);
  • consultancy services, including those relating to generational succession (Section 5 of the criteria);
  • promotion of research and development (Section 6 of the criteria).

Each area of support has a minimum and maximum expenditure threshold and a corresponding grant amount, as set out in the aid table (click here to view it).
The maximum expenditure per aid application, which may cover more thanone area of support, is €300,000.
Projects must be carried out within the 18 months preceding the submission of aid applications. Projects relating to the‘fixed investments for the energy transition’ area are eligible for aid only if carried out from 1 January 2023.

Only for aid applications under the automatic procedure that can be submitted in 2023 mayexpenditure incurred more than 18 months prior to the submission of the application be eligible for support, provided it was not incurred before 1 July 2021, with the exception of expenditure relating to initiatives falling within the scope of Section 2 ‘fixed investments for the energy transition’, which are eligible for support only if incurred from 2023 onwards.

In return for the aid received,the company is required to comply with a number of obligations. There are also specific obligations for individual areas of support.

What you need

Documents to be submitted

The application for assistance must be accompanied by thedocumentation specified in the criteria, and in particular: 

  • a verification certificate issued by a professional registered with the Professional Register of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts, the Register of Statutory Auditors, the Order of Labour Consultants, or a C.A.T. - H.U.B. – service companies controlled by a trade association;
  • a declaration by a qualifiedtechnician registered with the professional register, exclusively for works carried out as part of fixed investments for the energy transition;
  • a sworn expert report, signed by a professional registered with the relevant professional register, competent in the subject matter and external to the company, exclusively for projects carried out in the context of promoting research and development;
  • a declaration by a co-operative or consortium, whose statutory purpose is to provide services for the overseas marketing of its member companies’ products,exclusively for measures carried out in the context ofinternationalisation(initiatives relating to participation in trade fairs, including joint participation, and joint business missions).
Attenzione!

The verification certificate is managed via an online platform. The digitally signed certificate must be uploaded to the platform if the certifying party is not the same person as the applicant.
The declarations and the expert report are not managed by the platform (see Forms) and must therefore be uploaded to it. 
 

Attenzione! CUP per le domande con fatture emesse dal 1° giugno 2023

For applications submitted from 24 May 2024, it is mandatory to submit a verification certificate regarding the traceability of expenditure for invoices issued from 1 June 2023, in accordance with the operational guidelines set out in Provincial Council Resolution No. 728 of 23 May 2024.

 

Specifically:

  • for applications submitted from 24 May 2024 up to and including 28 May 2024, the verification certificate regarding the traceability of expenditure must be submitted to the Province via certified email (PEC) on the same date as the application is submitted, to the following address: apiae@pec.provincia.tn.it;
  • for applications submitted from 29 May 2024, the verification certificate regarding the traceability of expenditure must be submitted to the Provincevia the online platform provided for the subsidy scheme, at the time of submitting the application (attached to the application itself).
 

For applications submitted from 22 April 2023 up to and including 23 May 2024, the verification certificate regarding the traceability of expenditure for invoices issued from 1 June 2023 must be submitted to the Province, upon request, only in the event ofchecks during the preliminary investigation and/or subsequent supervisory checks or audits.

 

Specific consequences are provided forin the event of failure to comply with the operational guidelines set out in Provincial Council Resolution No. 728 of 23 May 2024.
