Aid New Enterprise 2023

This is a non-repayable incentive for new entrepreneurs, such as young people, women, and the unemployed, aimed at

• support initiatives related to thestart-up of new enterprises and/or initiatives aimed at consolidating the new enterprise through investments, communication campaigns, training and services for their growth;
• encourage the purchase of goods and services in the province, thus creating spin-offs in the provincial territory.

The facilitation measure is governed by theNotice and by general provisions common to all LP 6/2023 interventions.

Contribution measure and eligible expenses

The incentive, granted under the "de minimis" regime pursuant to the new Regulation 2023/2831, is determined on the basis of a percentage (depending on the score obtained by the project submitted) and with reference to the expenses deemed eligible:

• the minimum expenditure limit is EUR 10,000;
• the maximum expenditure limit is EUR 100,000.

Training course

The neo-entrepreneur must attend a training course organised by Trentino Sviluppo (minimum duration 16 hours), on topics concerning business strategy and innovation, business financial management, marketing and digital marketing, human resources organisation, circular economy.

Applicants who, in the last 12 months prior to submitting their application, have attended a course on the above-mentioned topics, including at other training organisations, lasting at least 16 hours, are not obliged to participate in the above-mentioned course subject to the assessment of the instructor. In this case, when submitting the application, the certificate of participation in the training course, already attended, must also be presented, indicating the topics, the number of hours and the training body.

New entrepreneurs who:

• are owners of the newly established business and actively and exclusively carry out the activity of managing and organising the business, in the role of owner or legal representative or partner, as recorded in the Business Register;

• fall into at least one of the following categories
  • being a woman
  • be a young person aged between 18 years and 35 years;
  • have been unemployed for at least six months.

Access Requirements

To access the incentive, as of the date of submission of the application, the enterprise must

• be at least 51% owned by one or more new entrepreneurs;
• have started business in the province no more than 18 months after the date of submission of the application, as recorded in the Companies Register (date of incorporation) or have transferred/established at least one business unit in the province no more than 18 months ago or have been established through the takeover of a pre-existing business or generational transfer no more than 18 months after the date of submission of the application;
• be a micro or small enterprise;

Project evaluation criteria

Applications are examined in accordance with the assessment procedure, by the investigating body(Trentino Sviluppo). At the end of the evaluation process a ranking list will be drawn up. Check art. 8 of theNotice for evaluation criteria.

The application may be submitted by

• Owner of the sole proprietorship
• Legal representative of the company
• Delegate

Deadline and application procedure

It is no longer possible to apply: applications could be submitted from 15:00 on 5 March 2024 to 15:00 on 30 July 2024.

To submit an application, you must have the SPID digital identity system.

To qualify for the incentive, you will also have to submit a project sheet of the initiative and the business plan (in particular, you will have to prepare a provisional profit and loss account and balance sheet covering a period of two years, according to the facsimile available in the Forms section).
