The Autonomous Province of Trento, within the framework of the implementation of the Provincial Environmental Energy Plan (PEAP) 2021-2030, approved by resolution of the Provincial Council no. 952 of 11 June 2021, announces the publication of the new section dedicated to "PEAP 2021-2030 Monitoring" within the Infoenergia website, the provincial energy portal.
The new space is configured as a channel to provide a constant update on the indicators associated with the Plan's actions, supporting strategic decisions to guide the territory's energy transition towards sustainable development.
The primary objective monitored is a 55% reduction in climate-changing gas emissions by 2030 compared to 1990 levels, aiming for a "Trentino Zero Emissions" and energy autonomy by 2050.
The new section provides citizens and insiders with energy performance indicators (including provincial consumption divided by sector, electricity production and the development of RES plants), which are updated annually. The energy indicators processed and presented in the portal are dynamic in nature: new ones may therefore be added over time to adapt the analysis to technological developments and new needs in the area;
