Description
The investment aims to incentivise private investment and improve access to finance for the self-production of energy from renewable sources in Italy and, in particular, to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in implementing investment programmes aimed at the self-production of energy from renewable sources. The call admits the purchase of new tangible goods instrumental for business operations and digital technologies aimed at theself-production of energy from renewable sourcesthrough the installation of photovoltaic solar systems or of mini wind systems, for immediate self-consumption. Eligible expenses include
- solar photovoltaic installations or mini wind power plants;
- digital equipment and technologies strictly functional to the operation of the plants
- systems for storing the energy produced;
ex-ante energy diagnosis.
The call for proposals envisages the granting of a grant ranging from 30% to 50%. Applications must be accompanied by an ex-ante energy diagnosis and projects must be completed within 18 months of approval. The subsidies are granted on the basis of a ranking procedure and only one application per company is allowed.
The Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, the administration in charge of the PNRR investment, has entrusted the management to Invitalia. Applications can be submitted at the new counter open from 8 July until 12 noon on 30 September 2025 (Decree of 30 June 2025) in addition to the previous one open from 4 April to 17 June 2025 (Decree of 31 March 2025). Within 60 days after the closing of the call for applications, the ranking list will be available.
