Description
The SFNIISSI finances investments in water infrastructure that pursue the following objectives
- improving the efficiency of water resource use, upgrading and maintaining the safety of structural works and increasing the resilience of infrastructure with a non-repayable grant of up to 90% of the cost of the intervention (net of VAT);
- reducing network losses through digitalisation with a non-repayable grant of up to 85% of the cost of the intervention (net of VAT).
The notice defines the requirements, methods and criteria for accessing the resources and is operational on the SFNIISSI platform of Invitalia, the manager of the measure.
As of 29 April 2026, the platform will be active in the preliminary accreditation phase through which the Proponent, as defined in the Notice, may register and indicate a delegate, if any, by accessing the section "Personal details and delegations".
The grant application, transmitted in the manner set out in the Notice, may be submitted from 12:00 noon on 6 May 2026 until 12:00 noon on 28 May 2026.
