Description
Public bodies and private entities based in the Province of Trento, among which priority is given to sports associations and clubs in the allocation of merit points, have until 28 April 2023 to take part in the 2023 Call for Citizenship Sport for All provided for by Article 21, paragraph 1, letter b) of Provincial Law no. 4 of 21 April 2016 and defined by Resolution no. 392 of 10 March 2023.
The aim is to encourage the involvement and participation of all citizens in the path leading in 2026 to the holding in Italy of the XXV Olympic Winter Games and the XIV Paralympic Winter Games, which will also be hosted, as is known, in some locations in Trentino.
In particular, applicants are invited to submit projects aimed at promoting the dissemination of sports disciplines, specifically among young people, with the aim of recovering and stimulating - also with the possible involvement of schools - the educational role of sports and motor practice, developing one or more of the following fundamental principles found in the Olympic Charter: fair play; sense of belonging; sharing of work; acceptance of purposeful effort; acceptance of results, whatever they may be.
The conclusion of the course envisages the production of a multimedia/visual product highlighting the above-mentioned fundamental principles of Olympism promoted through the activities that will have been carried out.
Funding is granted to the extent of 80% of the eligible expenditure and in any case with a maximum limit of 15,000 euros for each project proposal.
