Join the Erasmusdays EU Values campaign!

Erasmusdays 2025 invite us to celebrate what unites us, starting from the fundamental values of the European Union: human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, rule of law and human rights.
Values that come alive and become experience thanks to the projects and opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme, for a more inclusive, fair, solidarity-based and open Europe.
Erasmus+ is the beating heart for a future without borders, made of tolerance, respect and participation!

Take part in the EU VALUES campaign promoted by the Erasmus+ National Agencies

On the occasion of #Erasmusdays, this year the Erasmus+ National Agencies are proposing a shared cross-border campaign to raise awareness and promote European values, starting with the people and beneficiaries, Ambassadors and Erasmus+ Alumni: choose one of the EU values and have a photo taken with a sign in your hand, outdoors where you can recognise the place, country, city where you are and send it to the National Agency by 2 September.

How to participate: follow the instructions carefully

1. Download the EU VALUES Crossborders PDF template in Italian
2. Choose one EU value from the template and print the page in A3 colour to make a sign (it can also be all 6 values if you want to take more photos but do not print double-sided)
3. Take or have two photos taken, one vertical and one horizontal holding the sign with the chosen value
4. Download, fill in and sign the release form: Release form for adults
5. Send the photos in high resolution (or the best possible quality) together with a scan of the signed release form to the Erasmus+ National Agency INDIRE at this email address: erasmusdays@indire.it
6. DEADLINE: Tuesday 2 September.

How the photo must be taken

• The person must be in the centre of the picture, holding a sign with a value held horizontally and looking towards the camera
• Photo with elements that suggest the identity of the country, e.g.: city with monuments, signs in national/local language, typical landscapes, etc. A public space, with people around, a lively background!
• The photo should be taken at least 1 metre away from the person (two steps back)
• Good lighting
• If you choose to take 6 photos, each value must be in a different location: it can be the same person or a different person holding the sign from time to time

What will happen next?

Photos meeting the above criteria will be selected by the editorial team of the Erasmus+ National Agency INDIRE and sent to the French National Agency coordinating the initiative for the creation of animations with photos from all over Europe, which will be shared on social media shortly before the #Erasmusdays, on 6 October.
The photos can also be republished on social in montages by the INDIRE Agency at a later date.
