Description
On 9 January, the Commission announced the overall theme of this year's European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) to be 'Promoting a fair and competitive green transition'.
Scheduled to take place from 10 to 12 June 2025 in Brussels and online, the nineteenth edition of Europe's largest annual gathering focused on renewable energy and the efficient use of energy will focus on the new Commission's main energy priorities. As part of EUSEW's tradition of co-creating the conference programme with the clean energy community, the Commission has also opened calls for proposals for policy sessions, nominations in different categories for the prestigious EUSEW awards and other aspects of this year's events.
EUSEW 2025 will once again reward outstanding individuals and projects for their innovation and efforts in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy in three categories: Innovation, Local Energy Action and Women in Energy. Other opportunities to participate in EU Sustainable Energy Week, such as becoming an exhibitor at the Energy Fair, a Young Energy Ambassador or organising a local Sustainable Energy Day, will be available in January and February 2025.
