Description
The Provincial Dementia Plan of the 17th Legislative Term sets out strategies for improving the quality of life of people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, and their families. It is the result of collaboration between the members of the Monitoring Group, which acts as a driving force behind initiatives and in-depth studies at provincial level.

- Home care for people with dementia (ADPD)
- Day care at residential care homes for people with dementia and severe behavioural disturbances
- Alzheimer’s day centres
- Exemption from prescription charges for this condition
- Alzheimer’s support centres
