Description
On 13 January 2023, the Provincial Council approved a public notice for the selection of project proposals, which can be financed up to 100% of the eligible expenses, for the construction of renewable hydrogen production plants in disused industrial areas, to which total resources amounting to € 14,000,000.00 are allocated, within the framework of Mission 2 "Green Revolution and Ecological Transition" of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
The measure therefore allows companies to play an active role in the creation, by June 2026, of a Hydrogen Valley in Trentino. Thanks to the reconversion of disused industrial areas, new plants and technologies for the production and storage of green hydrogen, useful for the development of a sustainable local economy, will be put into operation: green hydrogen, produced using only renewable energy sources, is a key tool for a more sustainable energy system and to achieve, as envisaged by the PNRR, the decarbonisation targets set for 2030 and 2050. Companies are invited to promote their investment projects by submitting applications for subsidies from 9 a.m. on 23 January 2023 until 12 noon on 27 February 2023.
