Description
Purification: what reaches the purification plant?
All sewage (as decomposing effluents are called) discharged directly into a river or lake causes not only pollution of the river or lake, but also the possible outbreak of epidemics for humans. These dangers are averted through the use of water purifiers, which clean up used water before returning it to the natural cycle.
One of the most frequently used processes for the purification of sewage is the 'biological' process, in which the mechanisms of self-purification are recreated and enhanced. This natural process is reconstructed in the sewage treatment plant, in a modest space and volume and at an accelerated rate to allow the 'digestion' of a large quantity of organic substances.
