Support services for living at home:
- Home Care Service (SAD): social and care services such as personal care and assistance with hygiene and meal preparation, housekeeping, and psychosocial and relational support
- Integrated home care and palliative care(ADI and ADI-CP)
- Meals on Wheels: a service providing home-delivered meals to people who are unable to prepare their own meals
- Laundry service: a service providing washing, ironing and mending of clothes for people who do not have a washing machine or are unable to do so independently
- Remote assistance and monitoring: a service ensuring that people with reduced independence receive prompt assistance in the event of an emergency and are periodically monitored through telephone calls
Day centres offering support and socialisation with others:
- Day centres for older people:services that welcome self-sufficient or partially self-sufficient older people during the day, who can benefit from services (canteen, assisted bathing, pedicures, manicures, barber and hairdresser) and from social, recreational, cultural and physical activities
- Day centres for older people and day care services at residential care homes: services that welcome older people who are partially dependent during the day to promote opportunities for socialising
Residential care services:
- Supported living (sheltered accommodation): accommodation equipped with special safety systems and features that ensure residents can lead an independent yet protected life. These are available to older people living alone or as a couple, with varying degrees of frailty or at risk of social exclusion, who are no longer able to live alone in their own homes
- Accommodation for older people (Short-stay care home):a residential service aimed at older people with varying degrees of frailty, providing accommodation in a protected, community-based setting with the aim of helping older people regain their independence and preventing social isolation
- Residential Care Home (RSA), including for temporary respite care (RSA)
- Supervised holiday stays: a service involving the organisation of holidays by a lake, at the seaside or in the mountains, which facilitate socialisation and offer support to various categories of service users
