Description
A society can be all the more welcoming when the awareness of the importance of caring for others is present in each of us. Care that does not mean welfarism, but expresses attention.
We now want to invite this attention by proposing the viewing of some films on the subject of disability.
Through a pathway that starts from legislation, the first five films delve into specific disabilities (motor, sensory, intellectual), describing characteristics and historical interventions that have driven cultural change. These videos intend to embrace an inclusive approach, aimed at removing all kinds of barriers and guaranteeing the right to be protagonists of one's own life. Critical issues and solutions are analysed to foster participation in community life, enhancing everyday potential and strategies.
This project is closely linked to the legacy of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games for the improvement of the territories where they are hosted.
The videos were designed and produced for the Autonomous Province of Trento in collaboration with TSM - Trentino School of Management.
At the bottom of the page you will find a short film resulting from a project promoted by the Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Integrata del Trentino (ASUIT), in collaboration with Fondazione Franco Demarchi, as part of the provincial initiatives dedicated to people with autism spectrum disorders. The protagonists are four young people on the autism spectrum who shared their journey and their daily lives.
Hoping for a positive response from citizens for this cultural dissemination initiative, we wish you a good viewing!
