European integration and cross-border cooperation is the main topic of a series of webinars - Euregio Talk! - and a scientific conference organised by the EGTC/Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino with the collaboration of the Fondazione Museo Storico del Trentino, Eurac Research (Institute for Comparative Federalism, Center for Autonomy Experience and Center for Advanced Studies) and the University of Innsbruck, in the framework of the 50th anniversary of the second Statute of Autonomy of the Trentino-Alto Adige Region.
Method and thematic area
The chosen macro-theme will be analysed starting from the study of the territorial, social and economic cohesion policies promoted by the EU - mobility and climate change / training and work / tourism - and their impact on the three territories of our Euroregion.
In order to put together this portrait, the webinar platforms are designed as an open discussion arena, in which the representatives chosen for each territory will be able to exchange and promote points of view with a scholar in the field.
Theory and practice meet
These three Talks are preparatory to the final Conference, which is intended as an opportunity to engage in a scientific and academic dialogue, taking into account what has emerged in the discussion with the territories; to look at autonomy as a network of relations that includes the Euroregional dimension; to exchange views with representatives of other European EGTCs.
