Description
The Euregio offers schools interactive presentations for pupils and students on the topics of international cooperation, history, linguistic diversity and other topics that are of close interest to the reality of the institution and the area in which we are located.
Who the offer is aimed at
The Euregio presentation is offered to interested schools for all secondary school classes.
Conditions and procedure
The presentation is free of charge, is carried out by EGTC Euregio staff every second and fourth Thursday of the month and includes a two-hour school programme with a multimedia presentation, discussion and final game to assess the degree of learning.
Specifically, during the training session, a brief outline will be given of the common history of the three territories, the establishment of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Euregio Tirol-South Tyrol-Trentino, with its tasks and functions, and finally, the activities and initiatives dedicated in particular to young people will be presented.
Participating in this project offers an excellent opportunity for young people to get to know something that concerns them closely. The meeting can take place - on request - not only in Italian, but also in German or bilingual mode, considering the different experiences and backgrounds of the Euregio staff.

Past experiences
The experience of Euregio get-togethers has already involved many Tyrolean schools in past years. Among other things, the Tyrol initiated the 'Euregio goes to school' project. The heart of the project is the participative website, where interesting teaching materials on various topics such as politics, history, languages or Euregio culture are available.
In Trentino, too, some secondary school classes have had the opportunity to experiment with this initiative as part of citizenship education and now the Euregio intends to extend this possibility to all interested schools. Here is a video on the start of the project on 10 March 2022:
