Description
Since it is not possible to carry out protection measures for all the habitats and species of Community interest present in Trentino, this action will be used to identify the animals, plants and environments facing the greatest risks and the consequent intervention priorities.
These assessments will be obtained by cross-referencing the threats hanging over them with their conservation value at a European level but also with reference to the local situation.
Protection interventions in favour of species and habitats identified in this way will in any case have positive effects, with a sort of "umbrella effect", on all the Trentino ecosystems.
Expected results:
- identification of parameters enabling species and habitats of Community interest to be ordered at provincial level on the basis of their conservation value
- identification of reference species and habitats for the creation of the Trentino Multipurpose Ecological Network and the implementation of the management measures it envisages.
