Description
MUSE - Museo delle Scienze takes a new decisive step towards universal accessibility and the enhancement of the territory's identity heritage. On Thursday 16 April 2026, at 2.30 p.m., the project "Ti racconto il MUSE... in tutte le lingue" will be presented, with the official launch of the digital guides in the Cimbrian, Ladin and Mòchena languages.
The initiative focuses on the "MUSE easy to read" guide, a tool designed to break down cognitive and language barriers, now made available in the languages of Trentino's historical minorities. An operation that is not just a technical translation, but an act of recognition and cultural inclusion aimed at making the story of science accessible to every citizen.
The day's programme
The event will open at 2.30 p.m. with institutional greetings by:
- Francesca Gerosa, Provincial Councillor for Education, Culture and Equal Opportunities;
- Elisabetta Sovilla, Director of the Language Minorities Service of PAT;
- Massimo Bernardi, Director of the MUSE.
During the afternoon, which will see the active participation of some classes of students belonging to the linguistic communities involved, some audio extracts from the guide will be played. This will be followed at 3 p.m. by a talk by Professor Jens Woelk (University of Trento), who will explore the link between human rights and the protection of minorities. The second part of the afternoon will be dedicated to interactive activities for young people.

Presentation of the project "Ti racconto il MUSE... in tutte le lingue", with reference to the Easy to Read guide translated into minority languages.
Listening to audio extracts from the "MUSE Easy to Read" guide in Ladin, Mòchena and Cimbrian.

Speech by Professor Jens Woelk (University of Trento), the Rector's delegate for initiatives in favour of linguistic minorities, on the importance of the recognition and enhancement of minorities and human rights.
