Description

The second edition of Autonomia. The Trentino Community Trail, organised by the Provincial Department for the Promotion of Awareness of Autonomy, with the aim of sharing with the public the significance and values of Trentino’s special autonomy.

The programme, running from September to November 2026, features meetings, lectures, exhibitions and events dedicated to the history and prospects of Autonomy, exploring its various dimensions: from the Constitution to the protection of linguistic minorities, from territorial cooperation to the cultural and social challenges of the present day, through the involvement of local, national and international organisations.

The programme was presented on 21 August at a dedicated press conference.

Two events of particular significance form part of this journey of remembrance and awareness:

Album 1946. The Summer of Choices: organised by the Provincial Council of the Autonomous Province of Trento and curated by the Trentino Historical Museum Foundation and the Trentino Alcide De Gasperi Foundation, this exhibition offers a unique, documentary-style insight into aspects of Alcide De Gasperi’s life during a pivotal year: 1946.
