Description
The meeting comes at a strategic moment: a few weeks after the 5th World Congress of Biosphere Reserves (Hangzhou, China, 22-26 September 2025), where the new Strategic Action Plan 2026-2035 and the Hangzhou Declaration will be adopted. The national meeting will therefore be an opportunity to translate together the new global guidelines into concrete priorities for Italy, consolidate existing collaborations and build new synergies.
Organised by the UNESCO MAB National Technical Committee and the Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security, in collaboration with the host Reserve Alpi Ledrensi e Judicaria, the meeting will see the participation of institutions, local communities, researchers and above all young people, the protagonists of the future of our Reserves.

"Energy and the environment": an evening event open to citizens and the community with guest Roberto Battiston, professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Trento, former president of the Italian Space Agency (ASI), and now president of the European Space Science Committee (ESSC).
