The President of the Republic will be in Tesero on Saturday 19 July on the 40th anniversary of the Val di Stava disaster to honour the memory of the 28 children, 31 boys and girls, 120 women and 89 men who were killed on 19 July 1985 in Val di Stava.
The President of the Republic's visit will be divided into two distinct moments: a brief wreath-laying ceremony at the Victims' monument in the monumental cemetery of San Leonardo in Tesero and a civil ceremony in the Tesero Municipal Theatre.
Only family members of the Victims will be admitted to the wreath-laying ceremony at the cemetery of the Victims, who must enter the cemetery before 9.45 am.
The civil ceremony may be attended by citizens and authorities, who must enter the theatre before 10 a.m.
