General information
The realisation of the regional spin-off in the Autonomous Province of Trento, the first one for the geographical area of Northern Italy, contributes, moreover, not only to offer a qualified opportunity for training and refresher courses for school staff, as a whole, but also an added value in the innovation of schools in Trentino, in line with the needs of a modern, innovative and competence-oriented didactics, also taking into account the needs of the most peripheral territories, mountain areas and linguistic minorities. It also represents an important opportunity for participation for the Autonomous Province of Bolzano with a focus on the German-speaking area, linguistic minorities and multilingualism, a characteristic feature of our regional system.
Goals
The maintenance of professional quality and its development today require a plurality of converging actions, among which continuous training activities are crucial; however, interventions and training moments are to be built with reference to the wide range of clearly identified needs coming, both explicitly and implicitly, from the different roles and competences that make up the educational institutions, adopting new formats and new modalities, consistent with realistically attainable objectives and with the possibility of effective use, in terms of conciliability with the commitments foreseen by the exercise of each function.
The professionalisation of the entire area requires the adoption of formats consistent with the knowledge of scientific research ('evidence-based'), but at the same time with tools, practices and innovations already experimented in other contexts so as to be effectively applicable, with a view to comparison, sharing, valorisation, improvement, adaptation and exchange.
In this sense, in the context of education and training and its players, "Didacta Italia", a direct subsidiary of "Didacta GmbH", which organises the German format "Didacta - die Bildungsmesse", i.e. one of the two main international educational fairs together with BETT in London (UK), represents the place par excellence for meeting and debate between the institutional world of schools, configuring itself as the most important event for the dissemination and promotion of innovation in the world of schools, in which all the players in the school system meet and exchange views in training activities, seminars and workshops, but also an opportunity to learn, through the companies in the school supply chain, about the latest innovations in technologies and furnishings, fundamental components supporting educational innovation.
