Responsibilities and functions

The Co-ordination Commission authorises the carrying out of works relating to the ski run and lift system as provided for in Provincial Law No. 7 of 21 April 1987, ‘Regulations governing cable car systems for public transport and ski runs’, and the relevant implementing regulations. The size thresholds for projects falling within the Commission’s authorisation powers are established by the Provincial Executive by Resolution No. 67 of 24 January 2020. The works eligible for authorisation are, however, set out in Articles 100 and 101 of the Provincial Town and Country Planning and Building Regulations (Provincial Law No. 15 of 4 August 2015).
